Some things are so freaking stupid you just need to cut and paste a quote.

UNH has been awarded a $700,000 U.S. Department of Agriculture grant to create a computer model that measures the amount of greenhouse gases an organic dairy farm produces and thus provide ways to cut those emissions.

America’s Effective Tax Burden: A Nation of Serfs

This is a very enlightening article by Rob Viglione he calculates an American’s effective tax rate using a number of factors in this scenario

SCENARIO: Our fictional middle-class American will earn $100,000 per year (for ease of calculations), and live in a major metropolitan area. In this case, we’ll say this individual lives a few miles inland from the sunny Southern California beaches. Average home values are roughly $300,000 in this region.

He concluded that in most cases someone making $100,000 a year will have $57,231 confiscated in taxes.

At what point do we just quit working and say why bother if the government takes the first 7 months of our wages?

Very interesting Article you can read the full text here at theFreedomfactory.us

I am sorry but this really just gets under my skin.  I find it somehow ironic that we will spend billions of dollars to bomb the moon this Friday.  A satellite of this planet that has not formally declared war on the USA or any other country on earth. A satellite that is not currently manufacturing nukes to destroy Israel.  A satellite that has never carried out a terrorist attack on American soil.

But we can not spend the money needed to bomb the terrorist in Afghanistan that have declared war on America and its way of life.  Instead soldiers are dying because our commanded and chief it too busy trying to pass health care reform that does not need to be passed and get the Olympics to Chicago in 2016.

President Obama be a man and take your Commander and Chief responsibilities seriously.  There are soldiers dying in the field that you have an obligation to support and provide them what ever they need to complete their mission.

I have been very busy with returning to work and building Nana’s Room so I have not had much time to comment on Obama’s Stimulus package.  I do not think I could say it any better than Rush Limbaugh

“This Obama plan is the biggest economic blunder in American history. If all of this government spending, printing, and borrowing money for bailouts works, why isn’t the recession over? Well, it isn’t over because government doesn’t fix recessions or ‘stimulate the economy.’ Recessions are cyclical, and the American people are the ones who stimulate the economy.”

During the election all we heard from Obama was he has a plan for this and a plan for that.  Yet since his election every press conference is still full of no meaningful content or details just a lot of words where he does not say anything.

“We must spend our way out of a recession”

What does that mean?  The American economy is not driven by Government; don’t we all remember how well this worked for the USSR?  This guy does not have a clue and is in so far over his head we are all going to be paying for this election for many years to come.

In light of the misery that lies in store for us I have few suggestions for Mr. Obama.

  • Cut capital gains and corporate income tax.
  • Eliminate the “Mark to Market” rules for banks.
  • Reduce CAFE standards for the auto sector
  • Make a national right to work law to reduce the power of worthless unions that hamper innovation and cripple companies.

When you think about 3 major industries that are always in dire economic straights and are continually and habitually in trouble what comes to mind?  Would it be the airlines, educations, & the auto companies?  Would you like to take a guess of what are the 3 most heavily unionized industries in the country?  I rest my case.

I promise to take my rants to another venue as soon as I determine what that will be.  But this continues to be cheaper than therapy.

The election what can I say?  Is it important, is it critical, is it the most important thing you can do this year besides accept Christ into your life?  Yes it is!

This country stands upon a precipice that we dare not step over.  There is a component of people in this country that feel they have to apologize for America.  There is a component of people in this country that feel they need to apologize for the non-urban 48% of the country (hicks and rednecks anyone).  There is a component of people in this country that feel America is the cause of every problem in the world.  There is a component of people in this country that feel everything is owed to them even if it means taking it from the back of someone else.

There is a component of people in this country that need to be voted down this election day!

I could list all the reasons to vote against Barrack Obama but I do not have all week.  It is far more important that we vote down the people of this country who do not believe in American Exceptionalism.  If we vote down the people that are mostly ashamed of this country we will vote down Barrack Obama.  If we vote down the people in this country that want to take every reference of God out of our everyday lives we will vote down Barrack Obama.  If we vote down the people in this country that believe the Government will solve everyone’s problems we will vote down Barrack Obama.  If we vote down the people in this country that think capitalism is a disease that must be cured we will vote down Barrack Obama.

No matter who wins this election day there will be a peaceful transfer of power in this country.  That is what make us unique to many places in the world.  But regardless of the outcome.  Pressure must continue to be mounted on elected officials that seek to take away our freedoms and strip away American Exceptionalism shred by shred.

Tomorrow you must vote you conscience but please consider what I have said.

When you are done voting please take a moment to thank the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice over the last 232 years and continue to serve to defend this country today so that you can freely vote.

Then get on your knees and thank God that you were born in the and have the privilege to reside in the most exceptional country that he has every placed on this Earth!
