• Why are we the tax payer now the majority owner of AIG?
• Why is there no legal action being taken against the Board of Directors of these failing institutions?
• Why is the free market being usurped with my tax dollars?
• Why are these companies not being allowed to fail?
• When did I move to a socialist country?
• Why are successful banks going to be charged more in FDIC premiums because the regulators so woefully failed to do their jobs in the first place?

The free market when allowed to operate without government intervention is a thing of beauty.  The Free Market, Capitalism, Supply and Demand left unhindered by government are self regulating.  This is a series of events unseen in the history of our great nation.  The ramifications of the United States Government interfering to such an extent in the Free Market will set precedents and have ramifications for generations to come.

It is important to remember in times like these that the United States is not a democracy it is a republic.  When your elected politicians stop representing your interests and values it is time to recall them at the ballot box.
